Scott A. Mommer, PE of Lars Andersen & Associates is now certified for Regulation VIII Fugitive Dust Control with the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District (SJVAPCD). The purpose of Regulation VIII is to reduce ambient concentrations of fine particulate matter by requiring actions to prevent, reduce or mitigate anthropogenic fugitive dust emissions; as implemented by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) (Rule 8011). Upon completion of full Dust Control Training, Scott A. Mommer, PE can assist in efforts to keep the Valley clean and to implement the SJVAPCD mission “to improve the health and quality of life for all Valley residents”.
